Mr. Spector has been a member of our Board since December 2012 and has been our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since February 2021 and, prior thereto, as our President and Chief Executive Officer from January 2017 through February 2021. He served as our Executive Managing Director, President and Chief Operating Officer from February 2016 through December 2016 and, prior thereto, as President and Chief Operating Officer from February 2013 to February 2016. Mr. Spector has also served in a variety of similar executive positions at Private National Mortgage Acceptance Company, LLC (“PNMAC”) since its founding in January 2008. In addition, Mr. Spector has been a member of the board of PMT since its formation in May 2009 and has served as its chairman since February 2021. Prior to joining PNMAC, Mr. Spector was co-head of global residential mortgages for Morgan Stanley, a global financial services firm, based in London. Before joining Morgan Stanley in September 2006, Mr. Spector was the senior managing director, secondary marketing, at Countrywide Financial Corporation, where he was employed from May 1990 to August 2006. Mr. Spector holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
